Instruction Sheet

Note: It is recommended that you use a fine point pen or 0.5mm mechanical pencil along with any standard weight paper.

The design system is easy to use.  Simply hold your pen or pencil in a near vertical position.  Keeping the pen or pencil straight to the line you wish to draw and applying constant pressure, slightly drag the tip of the pen either vertically or horizontally with a fluid arm motion.

Do not lean your hand or arm on the surface while drawing!

To Draw Angles on the Standard System:

First install the adhesive tape provided (the side covered by the larger size backing should be put down on the surface of the grid where indicated; now remove the tape protector).  Next overlay your paper over the surface of the grid.  Once in place, proceed to draw a vertical or horizontal line.

Step Three

Once in position, ensure that the paper is secured by the adhesive tape.  Proceed to draw your line vertically or horizontally as desired.

For "Rotary Systems" removal of the paper is not necessary.  Simply dial the desired angle and proceed to draw in the direction chosen.

CAUTION: AVOID EXPOSING THE GRID SURFACE TO EXTREME TEMPERATURE.
